Jonathan Schwerin

Senior Vice President of Asset Management

Mr. Schwerin is a Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., where he oversees asset management across the firm's portfolio and supports underwriting and transaction execution.

Previously, Mr. Schwerin was Vice President at Ballast Investments, where he asset managed a large institutional multifamily portfolio in San Francisco and supported the acquisition of those assets through a distressed note sale and foreclosure process. He also acquired and asset managed a multi-state single-family rental portfolio. Earlier in his career, he held investment and asset management roles at Unison Investment Management and Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS).

Mr. Schwerin holds a B.S. in Finance from Marquette University and an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
