Steven Fayne

Mr. Fayne is a Principal of Align Finance Partners and member of the investment committee. He is responsible for Align’s debt originations, structuring of the Company’s tax-exempt bond investments and strategic direction.

Mr. Fayne is a nationally recognized leader in multifamily affordable housing finance, having originated more than $7B of investments over 30 years.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners, Mr. Fayne was the former managing director of Citi Community Capital. He began his career in affordable housing in 1992 when he formed Eichler Fayne & Associates, one of the first Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing mortgage banking firms in the industry. He founded and led the affordable housing division of ARCS Commercial Mortgage, and later moved the affordable division to GMAC Commercial Mortgage. Each of these companies was the national leader in affordable housing finance for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Mr. Fayne earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.

Michael Potter

Mr. Potter is a Principal of Align Finance Partners, Managing Director of Regis Metro Associates, Inc. and member of the investment committee. He is responsible for Align’s operations, investments, portfolio management and strategic direction.

Mr. Potter has over 25 years of experience in the acquisition, finance and disposition of real property with an aggregate value of over $4 billion.

Prior to forming Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Mr. Potter was a Principal of Metropolitan Real Estate Advisors and Stonegate Partners, both of which were real estate investment and advisory firms. From 1990 to 2000, Mr. Potter was a Partner at the San Francisco law firm of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP where he specialized in real estate finance, investment, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development.

Mr. Potter earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School. Mr. Potter is a member of the California State Bar and a licensed California real estate broker.

Dani Evanson

Ms. Evanson is a Principal of Align Finance Partners, Managing Director of Regis Metro Associates, Inc. and member of the investment committee. She is responsible for Align’s operations, investments, investor relations and strategic direction.

Ms. Evanson has over 25 years of experience in real estate, with a background in finance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, portfolio management and accounting.

Prior to forming Align Finance Partners and joining Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Ms. Evanson served as a Real Estate Director at a Los Angeles based family office. Ms. Evanson was primarily responsible for investing and managing a $500 million real estate portfolio valued at over $2 billion consisting of investments in commercial properties, investment funds, joint ventures and real estate operating companies. Ms. Evanson is a current board member of Abode Communities, one of Los Angeles’ largest non-profit affordable housing organizations.

Ms. Evanson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California (inactive), Certified Management Accountant (inactive) and California real estate broker.

Michael Costa

Mr. Costa is a Principal of Align Finance Partners, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Highridge Costa Housing Companies and member of the investment committee. He is responsible for Align’s investments and strategic direction.

Mr. Costa’s career spans nearly four decades in which he has supervised the development and financing of nearly 40,000 units of multifamily affordable and market-rate housing.

Mr. Costa has a wealth of specialized knowledge of the intricacies of developing, operating and financing affordable housing. He is considered an industry expert in affordable housing and tax credit-based asset management, including the myriad of compliance issues associated with financing and managing affordable housing properties.

Mr. Costa was inducted to the 2017 Hall of Fame by Affordable Housing Finance, the Freddie Mac Multifamily Builder of the Year in 2000 and the 1999 Builder of the Year by Multifamily Executive magazine. He is currently a board member of the NAHB Multifamily Leadership Board, California Housing Consortium and California Council of Affordable Housing. In addition, Mr. Costa served a seven-year term as Chairman of RISE, one of California’s most active nonprofit CDFIs. He also holds the CAASH (Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing) designation from the NAHB.

Mr. Costa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, and holds a general contractor’s license from the State of California.

Robert Tetrault

Mr. Tetrault is a Principal of Align Finance Partners, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of the Highridge Costa Housing Companies and member of the investment committee. He is responsible for Align’s investments and strategic direction.

Mr. Tetrault has been an integral member of a management team that has developed and/or invested in approximately 27,000 affordable housing units, representing a portfolio of more than 275 properties.

Prior to forming Align Finance Partners and becoming a Senior VP of Highridge Costa Housing Companies, he was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer with ARV Assisted Living, Inc. (a developer and operator of senior assisted living facilities and multifamily apartments) and an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Tetrault is a member of National Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of Mercy Housing, one of the nation’s largest non-profit affordable housing organizations.

Mr. Tetrault earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from California State University, Long Beach. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California (inactive).

Patrick Glennon

Mr. Glennon is a Director of Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc. He is responsible for underwriting Align’s bond acquisitions, portfolio management, monitoring existing investments and valuations.

Mr. Glennon assists the management team in researching national and regional trends in the affordable housing industry.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Mr. Glennon was an equity research analyst for Evercore Partners and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He also originated commercial mortgage loans for Prudential Mortgage Capital Company across all property types and performed internal accounting and investment analysis functions for Prudential Investment Management.

Mr. Glennon earned a B.S. in accounting from Bucknell University. He is a CFA charter holder and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California (inactive).

Jane Van Eerden

Ms. Van Eerden is a Loan Originator with Align Finance Partners. Ms. Van Eerden is responsible for Align’s debt originations, loan processing and monitoring existing investments.

As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Van Eerden assists the management team in marketing Align’s products and managing borrower relationships.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners, Ms. Van Eerden was an Associate Director with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, where she focused on agency debt originations. At Berkadia, she was also responsible for underwriting and processing transactions. She began her career with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, providing analytical and transactional support for general account originations. To date, she has closed over $1B in commercial debt.

Ms. Van Eerden holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin and an M.S. in Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Rachel Doygun

Ms. Doygun is a Director of Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc. She is responsible for Align’s fund administration, database management and Chief Compliance Officer.

Ms. Doygun also manages client relations and reporting and provides compliance oversight to the investment activities.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Ms. Doygun provided customized financial and performance reports for the City and County of San Francisco’s deferred compensation plan with over $2 billion in assets. Rachel also acted as Compliance Manager at Great-West Retirement Services and ING Financial Advisers.

Ms. Doygun holds a B.A. in Business Management/Economics with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She earned her M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.)

Sam Fong

Mr. Fong is a Senior Associate of Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc. He is responsible for analyzing investment performance and reporting.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Mr. Fong developed an investment product for a commercial real estate investment group and worked as a contract writer for real estate auctions. He also founded a San Francisco Bay Area real estate investment club in 2008 which currently has over 200 members.

Mr. Fong holds a B.S. in Management from the University of California at Merced.

Ms. Almeyda is an Investor Reporting Associate of Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc. She is responsible database management and fund administration.

Prior to joining Align Finance Partners and Regis Metro Associates, Inc., Ms. Almeyda held multiple positions in the wealth management and private banking segments with major corporations. In both segments, she handled client’s needs and operational duties related to investments and banking. She also has experience in the international segment of the business adhering to international compliance needs and regulations, and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Ms. Almeyda holds a B.B.A. degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University.
